Ms. Wallace leads the Software Reference Fault and Failure Data Project (to develop metrology, taxonomy and repository for reference data for software assurance) EFF project . She is also responsible for research and standards in high integrity software, software verification, validation, and testing, software management, software quality assurance and has published widely on these topics.

She is a co-author of the book, Software Quality Control, Error Analysis, and Testing, Noyes Data Corporation, 1995.
